This guide is the skeleton and instruction manual for building an elite offense. All numbers on players builds are "natural". The natural attributes goals set are just that and should be built accordingly. IE. a Center who has a goal of 73 BLK should quit spending points around 68 to save the SP and let it go to 73 through levels. Pushing multiple stats to the goals listed is ideal. The key plays listed are the plays that will use the players key attributes to give him an edge over the competition. Key plays can be found at this page
http://seano-glb.bravehost.com/offense.htm . Special Abilities will be listed in order of importance and will not have "goals" set as they can be added to at any time and do not have natural level gains. Attributes are also listed in the order that I deem them important.

Summary
This guy is built to be a true pocket QB. Having vision at the 5:1 cap with throwing is critical. Bort has made changes to favor this build by changing the way lead passing works. This guy will hit your players in stride with 85+ THR/VIS.

Normal I - HB Off Tackle - HB Dive - HB Slam
Singleback - HB Slam
Pro Set - HB Off Tackle
Summary
This is the guy who is strong enough to run over most linebackers/players in the secondary and fast enough to get past the DLine. Off tackle plays will be his specialty. The high STR/AGI will make for a nasty stiff arm, 90+ STR is adequate enough for lower the shoulder/power through to be effective and 73 AGI will be good enough for Quick Cut. This player is built specifically to take advantage of these SAs.

Key Plays

Strong - HB Sweep Strong
Pro Set - HB Out - HB Sweep
Normal I - Double Wheel - HB Streak
Singleback - HB Wheel - Power Toss
Shotgun - Strong Flood - HB Fly
Summary
This is your 3rd down back. He's going to be used primarily as a WR who always sees a LB covering him, but equally as important he will give you the ability to use pitch plays as his speed and agility will both be 85+, he'll stretch the field in a hurry. This guy is an excellent returner as well, he can be used this way if he is not getting enough plays.

Summary
This is the guy who will be the unsung hero of your offense. He is built for making impact blocks. He will either quickly take a defender out and move to the next level or he'll hold a single block long enough for your bulldozer to get into the secondary and posterize some dots. I typically only use 1 FB, you can add a second similar FB for special teams.

Key Plays
Normal I - TE Quick Hit - TE Slant
Weak - TE Sideline
Singleback - TE Post - TE Drive
Shotgun - Corner Threat - TE Drive
Summary
You'll want to take advantage of his ability to make cuts as his AGI will be over 80 and vision/catching should be good enough to make adjustments for the big play. Most LB's are built 90+ Speed / 68 Agility, these guys will be fast enough to hang with you but unless the LB is using 2x Shutdown Coverage AEQ pieces, you will abuse this player all day long, as he will not have the AGI or the Jumping to contain you.

Summary
This will be your man in the trenches. He's also built for impact blocks ,as he should very rarely be put in a pass blocking situation, he is not built to sustain blocks for a long amount of time. He'll be a severe mismatch when locked up with any LB, and most DE's will have significantly lower STR. This player is also great for special teams.

Strong I - Cross Up
Shotgun - Quick In
Summary
Post patterns are your friend as you'll more often then not find yourself slightly ahead of most CBs and with the target CTH/VIS you'll make plays on the ball. Far and away the most dangerous play here is Pump N' Go. Use this play to stretch the field on second and short. Taking a shot downfield and still looking good on 3rd down is a great luxury.

Singleback - Flanker Drag
Normal I - Hook Outs
Summary
The routes that target WR 2 rarely put him in position to blow by the CB, so 73 speed is not necessary. The routes above all have one cut or more in it. This will take advantage of your high AGI and when you do not shake the defender, your natural instinct as a possession WR will kick in (big jumping/possession SAs)

Summary
This is your burner, WR3's sole purpose in both of his key plays is to line up on CB3 and burn him downfield. WR In is a very dangerous play with this build, as you know who your lined up against and you're built to torch him down field.

Shotgun 5WR - WR In
Summary
Look Familiar? This is the second part to making WR In so dangerous. This play will be a nightmare with a second burner in place. Both WR3 and WR4 are running streaks and with the QBs build, one of the two get by quick enough for the QB to spot him and get the ball out in front. Most teams CB4 will be severely outmatched by this WR, this play can be leaned on against teams with weaker secondaries and a passive defensive scheme.

Summary
This guy will be your pure possession guy. He's not going to be faster or more agile then their CB5, instead you'll bank on him being covered just having much superior receiving skills to bring the ball in even when his man is on him. The high catching is a must for his build as your QB will use him more as an option when no one else is open.

Summary
With the nerf bombs that have been dropped all over DEs all season long, its evident that Bort wants DE's to be more balanced. With high protector you will not be a detriment to the team left on an island with a quicker defensive end. The biggest bonus that you will get is the ability to dominate that lineman in the ground game. This opens up the offense a bit when it comes to having big plays from your HB going to the weak side of the field.

Summary
This is just a more ground game friendly version of your LT. You will not have the advantage of protector working in your favor in the RT spot so you still need to have 80+ blocking, your strength will also be high enough to be a mismatch against most DE's. Foundation is important against the quicker DEs and Get Low will help you dominate in the ground game.

Summary
Your LG will find himself one on one with the DT more often then not so I prefer him to have high blocking to sustain his blocks against those 100+ AGI defenders with good shed block. Your STR will be adequate to hold your own against stronger DTs. Absorb Pain becomes more important if the meta changes from big AGI to big STR DTs.

Summary
Your RG is often helped by the Center so he can be more one dimensional. If you can get your HB into the second level on a consistent basis, you will be able to pound the opposition. If the NT gets one on one with your RG you'll need the high STR as most NT builds have 100+ STR.

Summary
Big Line General and Natural Leader will keep all of your O-Linemen playing to the best of their abilities. This guy will use his brute strength to powerhouse through the middle of the defense. If you bring your STR up right away, he'll have a big STR advantage on every NT that lines up against him and should open up huge holes in conjuction with your RG.
